The Salt Life Kitchen: A place to celebrate life with nourishing food!

I LOVE FOOD. My mom has always said that I remember days and events by what I eat, so while our Recipes are FREE FROM refined sugar, nuts, gluten, grains, soy, cow, and pork- they are all flavor-packed, festive, and approved by my Italian foodie family! 

I worked in fashion in New York City straight out of college but then decided to start The Salt Life Kitchen after spending years learning how to use food as medicine. Knowing which foods to eat (and which to avoid!), I lost 40 pounds that I had gained from a kidney disease and have successfully managed Multiple Sclerosis without any medications (more on that here: The 3 Ways I Turned My Health Around Holistically).

The recipes are full of healthy minerals (such as good salt!) which help build a strong immune system and fight illness. They are also very inspired by our love of the sea. We spend as much time as we can enjoying the sand, sun, and saltwater!

In addition to making memories in our own kitchen, we love discovering and supporting local eateries, grocers, and farms. We are very excited to bring them to you in our Cafes & Markets section!
